Applications in steel construction

The rotating platform allows the machine to be turned through 360 degrees in 90-degree steps. This lets the machine be aligned to the workpiece or to the material feed without changing the installation site, improving handling and accessibility at changing working positions.

Typical applications

  • Aligning the machine to the material feed in 90-degree steps
  • Adapting the working direction to long sections in the workshop layout
  • Turning the tool side towards the operator or the crane runway
  • Flexible material flow in confined installation spaces
  • Changing the processing direction without relocating the machine

Which businesses use it

Used in structural steel and metalworking shops as well as locksmithing that deploy their fabricating machine flexibly within the material flow and at different working positions.

Frequently asked questions

What is the rotating platform under the machine for?

It allows the machine to be turned through 360 degrees in 90-degree steps without relocating it. The tool or feed side can thus be aligned to the workpiece, to the operator or to the crane runway, which eases the material flow in the workshop.

Why are fixed 90-degree steps useful?

The defined 90-degree steps provide reproducible, clearly aligned working positions. The machine locks into fixed positions, so that the alignment to the material and to the workstation stays unambiguous.
